Upon
earning your yellow belt, you enter the Black Belt Update phase
of your training. Your instructors will conduct a series of
evaluations and tests to determine if you qualify for advance
training in the Black Belt Club. If you qualify, you will be
invited to join the Black Belt Club. Train hard and good luck!
What
is the Black Belt Club?
The Black
Belt Club is comprised of students committed to the goal of
black belt. By the rank of orange belt a student should make
the committment to black belt and join the Black Belt Club.
We predict that over 90 percent of our students will be BBC
members or BBC graduates.
Who can qualify for the Black Belt Club?
To qualify,
a student must be a yellow belt or above and have their instructor's
approval.
How do I get
recommended?
To qualify
for advance training beyond your trial year, you must:
- Have
set the goal of black belt.
- Have
regular belt exam participation.
- Super
attitude in karate, school/work, and at home.
- Demonstrate
the qualities of Black Belt Excellence in and out of the
school.
- Have
a very high level of enthusiasm for karate class.
- For
students still in school, a good report card on conduct
and attitude from parents and teachers.
- Support
school functions.
- Have
good attendance and eagerness to make up absences.
- Be
current with tuition payments.
- Have
full support of family.
What are the benefits of the Black Belt Club?
Lloyd
Irvin's Martial Arts Academy is a Black Belt School and when
a student makes the commitment to black belt they are past
the trial stage. They become part of our school with the following
privileges:
- 15%
discounts on all school equipment, merchandise, and special
events.
- Able
to attend extra classes and seminars available to Black
Belt Club members only.
- Lowest
possible tuition rate through black belt with no yearly
increases.
- Special
Black Belt Club patch.
- Opportunity
to wear the special black uniform of the Black Belt Club.
- Able
to attend our special National Black Belt Club events.
What
is the Ultimate Black Belt Club?
The Ultimate
Black Belt Club is the same as the Black Belt Club except
the Ultimate Black Belt Club members get an additional two
special classes a week.
What is the
MASTERS CLUB?
The MASTERS
CLUB is for the student that is commited and has set a GOAL
to achieve their 2nd Degree Black Belt this program and tuition
will carry a student all the way to 2nd Degree Black Belt.
They receive all of the benifits of the Black Belt club member
and also have there own special events.
