Message for Trinity University Students:
My Name
is Nyjah Easton
and I am a Freshman
at Trinity
University, who is running for the office of President
for the 2005-2006 school
year. My goal as President would be to serve our class in a
manor
that would make us the strongest unified Blue
Class
in the History
of Trinity University.
I solely believe that with hard work and dedication to the fellow
officers all requirements for the freshman class will be met and will
supersede the expectations of many. My
goal is to
help build ladies of purpose and power, with a true understanding of
their uniqueness as the 2009 Blue
Class.
Thank

your support and I look forward to working with you all in the upcoming

“Three Things
You Should Know About Nyjah Easton”
- At the
young age of 17 I was
responsible for handling all
financial
affairs for a multimillion
dollar company and served as
a personal assistant to the president of the company!
Why is this important:
I believe that because I was charged with such a important task at a
young age I am able to handle any challenges that come my
way. Being able to maintain my grades in school,
work on a daily basis, and to be held responsible for the financial
affairs of a booming multi-million dollar company is quit an
accomplishment for someone at my age. This is a small example of my
ability to be responsible, trustworthy
and to see
things through to completion.
- I have
been training in Martial Arts
for over 8 years, in four different styles.
Why is this important:
Not only does Martial Arts teach good self-esteem,
discipline, respect
but also honor
and responsibility.
I have been dedicated to my craft for many years, which includes
competing in tournaments, chaperoning events, and even supporting my
fellow peers. I am the
#3
Ranked Female in the Nation in the Women’s Super Feather
weight division.
Not only did this accomplishment take hard work but
dedication. All though this is a great title to have I am
still working diligently to become the #1 Ranked Female in the
Nation. I believe that this
same
commitment and dedication will only benefit my job as president to our
class.
- This
summer I was blessed to travel to
South Africa on a four week missions trip to help build schools, drop
of supplies, and plant vegetable gardens for different communities.
Why is this
important:
This opportunity stretched me in such a way that I will never be the
same. Being responsible for waking up at sometimes four
o’clock in the morning to paint walls or shovel walkways was
quit a task. Or to walk 9 miles to a town that is in need of
school supplies and clothing is was a daily routine. Yet
seeing children smiling and singing songs of thanks made every step
worth taking. One of my greatest joys is to make people
happy, in what ever way possible. This trip which consisted
of early mornings and long nights, I believe helped me to
work together with others and to do everything from your heart!
